WHAT IS FlexiOH®?
FlexiOH is the next generation orthopedic immobilization technology invented, developed, patented and delivered world-wide by OrthoHeal. It is indeed, a one-of-a-kind orthopedic immobilizer that blends precision, rigidity, washability and ventilation without compromising a comfortable post-fracture healing experience.
Recovering from bone-fractures often requires strong physical immobilization for long periods of time using orthopedic immobilizing casts. Such casts can be applied for days, weeks, or even months in specific cases.
The design and material of FlexiOH are strategically engineered to provide superior comfort using a foam, which is bio-compatible (tested as per ISO 10993-10) and provides comfortable cushioning against the hardened polymer. The FlexiOH immobilizer is also designed to have intermittent hollow spaces that can facilitate air-circulation, sweat-evaporation as well as easy washing and regular cleaning of the skin surface
